ABOUT C/G

C/G STARTED SKATEBOARDING, SURFING, SNOWBOARDING, AND OF COURSE CREATING ART AS A SMALL CHILD IN THE LATE 80’S. BY THE TIME HE TURNED 16 HE WAS STARTING TO GET SPONSORS SUPPORTING HIM IN SNOWBOARDING AND COMPANIES WANTING TO USE HIS ART ON THEIR MERCHANDISE. IN 1993 VOLCOM BOARDWEAR OFFERED HIM A JOB/SPONSORSHIP AS SOON AS HE GOT OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL TO WORK IN THEIR ART DEPARTMENT DESIGNING CLOTHING GRAPHICS / SHOP DISPLAYS AND AS WELL AS SUPPORTING HIM TO COMPETE IN SNOWBOARDING DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. VOLCOM WAS C/G’S FAVORITE BRAND AND THE ONES THAT FIRST RECOGNIZED HIS TALENTS IN WHICH PUSHED HIM TO CREATE EVEN MORE. C/G COMPETED IN THE VANS TRIPLE CROWN BIG AIR CIRCUT FROM 1999 - 2005 AND RODE FOR COUNTLESS SNOWBOARD BRANDS UNTIL SUBSTAINING KNEE INJURIES. WHILE INJURED HE PAINTED NON STOP AND MASTERMINDED HIS FIRST SERIES OF GALLERY WORK FOR SHOWS. THIS IS WHEN HIS ART JOURNEY BEGAN!

C/G went on a mission over a 15 year span gaining notoriety in the Art scene throughout Orange County and Los Angeles within the first 2 years of his career embarking into the art world. His constant innovation caught the eye of collectors around the globe, selling thousands or original pieces and still counting. Everything from Gallery shows, celebrity clientele, brand collaborations, and painting live at big night clubs C/GREED was painting it up like a rock star. His notoriety and things he was doing as an artist with his sidekick caught the eyes of TV producers that lead to the filming of a Carson Grier’s Pop Art Nation pilot to be pitched to some major networks. Life was getting in the fast lane for C/G and it was at that time he realized what he really wanted… going to that next level of notoriety wasn’t the life he wanted along with some other issues that started to surface. C/G started to rethink what really makes him happy and had to make some interesting changes. He wanted a creative rebirth, a new meaning behind his work and get out in the streets.

This is when C/GREED WAS BORN.

Recently emerging from a multiyear self-imposed hiatus of near isolation and purposely unplugged from today’s modern communication devices. Formerly known by his given name that shares the same initials C.G. as his new moniker of C/Greed. This “The Most Unfamous Artist”, has been highly sought after and collected for many years by celebrities and art aficionados alike. Selling thousands of pieces of ORIGINAL work and still counting. Retaining an almost maniacal desire to unleash over 300+ new offerings of his intensely creative mind’s-designs, including the much anticipated "ICON SERIES"; These multimedia works of art inspired by the likes of Steve Jobs, Hugh Hefner, Rick Rubin, Steven Spielberg and more are reanimated and mastered in C/Greed’s own unique stylings. By using the materials in which made them iconic, C/G manages to pay homage and maintain a deep respect to these Icons in a way they would surely admire. C/Greed’s works will be shown and displayed for the public not just to view, but to interact with, as a journey to be walked through; seen and fully immersed in.
